My Yoga
Yin Yang Hatha Flow
Through yoga, I have experienced peace of mind—serenity—and a sense of universal connection. At the same time, I have gradually become stronger, fitter, and more flexible. This is the experience I wish to share in my teaching.

My Yoga is both philosophical/spiritual and active/dynamic. Sun salutations, dragon dances, and Shakti dances bring us into movement and flow, while slower exercises and long-held asanas allow us to develop a deeper awareness of our bodies. In my classes, the whole body is mobilized, strengthened, and stretched, often with a focus on areas under high strain. I try to integrate nature—which surrounds us so beautifully in Çıralı—into my sessions, incorporating elements like the moon phases, the sea, the mountains, and more.

For me, mastering specific postures (asanas) is not the goal. Asanas are simply a tool to strengthen and stretch our muscles, joints, and fascia. Just as important, they help us become more aware of and accepting of our own bodies.

Testimonial:
“I spent three weeks on vacation in Çıralı and practiced yoga with Silvia on most days. The yoga sessions were always adapted to the needs of the group, offering a wonderful variety and challenges. Silvia truly pays attention to her students, providing a lot of personal guidance and corrections when needed. The diversity of themes and movements brought me great joy, and after just a few sessions, I felt stronger and better in my body. Silvia is a kind, confident, and dynamic teacher, and I hope to return soon for more yoga!”
